Meet Me At The Park

Neighbourhood Park Program

Meet me at the Park is a free drop-in program designed to bring neighbourhoods together by offering informal, unstructured, recreational opportunities that support physical activity, creativity as well as social connection.

 There will be eight Meet Me At The Park events held through the summer. Activities will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Oriole Park

Aspen Heights/Glendale/Normandeau

Clearview Meadows

Riverside Meadows/Fairview

 These events are designed to help neighbours get connected and to provide safe, fun activities for all.  Activities offered will vary from site to site based on the amenities available and will include a variety of options for unstructured creative play.  Check out The City of Red Deer website for more information.


Bower Community Centre - Summer PLAYGRAM Program:

Saturdays 9am-12pm

Wednesday 5pm-8pm

Bower Community Centre at 85 Boyce Street

Starts July 3 and runs until August 28 

Rain or shine! for calendar of events (still building)


We are offering FREE EQUIPMENT LOAN to families  and kids to GATHER and play. 

eg Volleyballs and nets, basketballs, tennis racquets, soccer, baseball gloves, bats and balls, badminton, ladder golf, golf clubs, ping pong and indoor crafts on rainy days!!!

We will have two leaders to play and teach, sanitize, and  sign out said equipment. ALL FREE!!!

We will play with the kids but also happy to see adults use this equipment to play with their kiddos.
